We've been to Vicky Bakery too many times to count. This location is conveniently located in Cooper City at the corner of Stirling and Palm Ave. This place it's usually always busy. The prices are inexpensive and food/coffee is good. We occasionally stop by here to grab a beef empanada and cortadito. Seriously, it's super cheap! Empanadas are $3.25. Cortadito is $3.50. The staff is always nice and very efficient which makes the lines go by pretty quickly. The space is simple with a few tables and chairs inside. A few other items we've tried here include Cuban sandwich, palmer/elephant ear, guava & cheese pastry, pastelitos, croquettes, cheese tequenos, pan de bono and egg croissant sandwich. Vicky Bakery is popular for a reason. Check them out!
I can't understand the low star rating here, I had a really good experience at the Cooper City Vicky Bakery! Went in to pick up a tray of mini ham croquettes for a party I was going to and decided to pick up a few other things as well. I ordered a medium Cafe con leche, some croquettes, 2 Cuban toasts and a Cuban sandwich. Everything was delicious and very reasonably priced. The staff couldn't have been any nicer and it was spotlessly clean in there. They offer catering and they're also known for having delicious cakes. They have a full case of different kinds of pastries and many savory items in their hot case. I will definitely be going back there next time I'm craving some delicious treats!
On the way back to Tampa from Miami, we stop by this place to get some Vicky Pastelito. We have been to many Vicky in Miami and Hialeah area, but this one is the best. I have live in Miami for 11 year, love the pastelito. This time we bring some back to Tampa. We got 1 guava, 5 coconut, 5 meat pastelito. Those are delicious on the first day and two days after heat it up. I like the crunch crust. We also got some tiramisu and the rice pudding. Those are good too. The time we have visit is Friday 2 pm. No one in the bakery. We got all the attention. Service is good.
This is the closest cuban bakery to my house, so I'm a regular here. They have all the traditional Cuban pastries and savory treats, and they also have breakfast and lunch items. Seating space is very limited, just a couple of small tables, so it is better to come here for take out. Their Cuban coffee is very good, and they have now added also an option to use non-dairy milk and several syrup flavors. Service is always friendly and fast. Also, they have a large selection of cakes that change according to the season, and they usually have catering offerings (family dinners) that are available for special occasions like Thanksgiving and Christmas. Give it a try if you are in the area.
This bakery has delicious Cuban coffee and pastries. My favorite is their flan and ham croquettes. Their Dulse de Leche was not liked by our party of four. Service is good. They have two tables to dine in but it's not cozy.
Well, this Vicky has the better pastelitos of the bunch. The Cuban sandwiches here are also pretty good and big. The coffee is good, service is good, but the Cuban bread is not the traditional kind, which is weird. I haven't tried other things but it's interesting to see that there is no uniform product in this franchise. I wonder. The shopping mall is an old shopping mall, so everything is a bit strange and run down. With so much new construction and new business, coming here is like entering into a time capsule. An interesting experience, to say the least.
Vicky bakery is a classic and I am so surprised how much this business has grown! The staff is always nice and helpful and inside the locations are pretty clean and has seating available for anyone dining in. They serve breakfast and lunch and also desserts and cakes. I like that they sell party platters which makes for a great party and amazing snacks. Always good so stop by whenever you see one and indulge yourself!
Never been to this location of Vicky Bakery, but they happily have delivery through Uber Eats. Coming back from my Europe vacation, I was seriously missing Cuban food, particularly croquetas. I know, I know; they're originally Spanish, but I didn't visit Spain, so... Anyway, got back, had a massive craving, and couldn't drive per doctor's orders. Ordered one of those party packs of 25 croquetas that I shared with my neighbor (and friend) and had a café con leche to boot. Those croquetas lasted for days, too, so it was a bargain. Oh, and I ordered empanadas. Those were tasty, but one had a little slight burnt edge. I'd have preferred if it hadn't. It's not aesthetically pleasing. Still, everything was delicious and it killed the craving I so desperately had. I hope to at some point visit the actual storefront, but for now, I'm just seriously happy they do delivery through Uber Eats.
